AI chat privacy

“Ask AI Evgeny” is an AI version of me that answers questions on this site. It can be wrong, and it can’t make commitments on my behalf.

• Stored for 90 days. Your messages and the AI’s replies are kept for 90 days, then deleted. I may read them.
• Processed by Anthropic. Messages are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate the replies.
• No raw IP address. The chat backend receives a salted hash of your IP address, used only to limit abuse.
• Bot protection. Each message is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs invisibly in your browser to confirm a person is sending it. Its use of data is covered by the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
• In your browser. The current conversation lives in session storage and is cleared when you close the tab. An invite code, if you have one, stays in local storage.
• Deletion on request. Message me on LinkedIn with roughly when you chatted, and I’ll delete the conversation.
